So, I'm reading through the Buell Tuning Guide that comes with ECMSpy.

I'm planning on doing some datalogging runs tommorow.

My AFV value is sitting at 97. Reading the dyno tuning section it says to disconnect the o2 sensor and set AFV to 100, then re-connect after tuning.

Same practice with datalogging runs on the road?

Can the o2 sensor be de-activated in ECMSpy? (Don't think so). Is it as simple as disconnecting a plug somewhere otherwise?

Don't disconnect the O2 sensor... You want to correct so that EGO correction is 100% everywhere. The ECM can only calculate the EGO correction with the O2 sensor connected...

Gunter and I am updating the tuning guide.

In the meantime, have a look at the old site for pp's tuning project.

Ok, thanks

In Megalog viewer (v. 2.958) the Y axis is set to Map which gives an error... What should it be? No option for Pulse Width and the TP is throttle position in percent...

*EDIT* some searching found this page:
http://ausbuells.informe.com/forum/buel ... t1234.html

Which is really just a summary of your stuff.

Y-axis should be TPS 8-bit according to that.
