I'm not back on two wheels yet, but I'm after an XB9SX or XB12SX/SS/SCG/STT.

My previous recent bikes have been a very trick Suzuki SV650S and a KTM 950 SM, which was awesome, but after 4 months of ownership it went tits up and I eventually had to take the dealer to court (long story...) I sold it shortly afterwards and have been bikeless ever since (2006.)

Anyway, while I'm in the hunt for a new set of wheels, I just though I'd drop in and have a read...

Bit too 'old school' for me really...

Borrow one and do a few miles before you dismiss it. I've got a few Tube frame Buells, (plus a XBSs nearly bike and a 1125R - which is brilliant) and today I got one of my X1s MOT'd and taxed. I took it for a thrashing around N.Wales and thoroughly enjoyed it - more than I would have on any of the other Buells.
