TBH the Harley ones are good quality or Odyssey
they will last longer if you can keep them on a charger

This shop is near to me. I called him last week and he tells me he's got them in stock ready to ship.

gel is what you need , the lead acid are cheaper but wont last anywhere as long TBH

TBH - you make your own choice when it comes to batteries - gel ones are better than acid if you maintain them properly - they are less likely to recover if you let them go flat ... :oooops:

Hi i1ve just fitted an odyssey in place of the varta battery that i bought just over 12 months ago , I must say the odyssey spins it over so much faster than before and i got it for £82....gel batteries are far better imho...

if you use the bike in the cold make sure the cold cranking amps rating is high enough otherwise it will struggle to start the bike.the manuel for my xb12s says the rating is 200cca dont take a shops word that a battery is sutible for your bike do a search on google to check the rating
