Hello me again
A few questions about a 2008 buell
The EcmSpy does not work, so far, on them does it?
His there a way to go around the INTERACTIVE EXHAUST thing? they want to mount a new exhaust on it, what do you recommend?
Thanks for your patience

Try this:

In the meantime, do you have ECMSpy 1.12.x? Do you know what firmware version you are using in the ECM?

Hello pash
I have the 1.12.1 EcmSpy
I didn't understand this: (Do you know what firmware version you are using in the ECM?) on the bike??? if so no I do not know, its not my bike
Does the EcmSpy work on an 2008 bike?, isn't the connector different?

Nope, it fits and works. All the maps will display incorrectly and it must be used with GREAT CARE...

I'm truing to help the guy, just because I'm a good Samaritan lOl but he is far way from me and don't have a cable for the EcmSpy, and I'm not sure he wants one, I've mail him those drownings in that post, lets see what he does
So its better not to use the EcmSpy then
Ok pash tanks a million

Just leave the motor connected and disconnect the cable. Simple solution.

I took my motor out cos I keep my sandwiches under the airbox cover... ;)

The old version can be used now, but the maps will not be diesplayed correctly cos the software does not know where they are. What do you want to use it for?

I have a little utility ready, that will just read and write the data from/to any ECM. In conjunction with TunerPro there's at least one way to adjust values. TunerPro bin definitions are available for download at the ecmspy website.
