Hi guys,

just dropped in here as I'm sneaking constantly through a lot of Buell-forums.
I'm an 48 years old german engineer, working since more than 25years in Switzerland, living near Zürich - and after a lot of different bikes between 1 an 6 cylinders, Wankel-engine, 2 and 4-stroke, I discovered Buell in 1997 when I bought the brand-new M2.
After a couple of engine-defects  - almost every 18'000km the oil-pump-pinion collapsed :? - and as Buell has not been officially imported to Switzerland in the pre-XB-area - I've been pretty alone to solve my problems - I sold the M2 in 2001.
At this time they presented the XB9R which fascinated me - but I wanted to get the bike with a real engine an not this girlie-part they placed in there a the beginning. I had to wait two years until Erik built the XB I waited for. In that time I owned still mit '84 K100S - but I only made about 200km on the Motorcycle in 2 years.. :(
Actually I'm still riding a 2003 XB12S for the road - with a couple of modifications at the chassis and the engine - got a 1470big-stroke update from MTek - which made more than 150'000km up to now. 8-)
But I also own some XB's for the track - together with some 1125R, 1125RR and 1190RR...
Yes, you guessed right ;) I'm the guy behind http://www.PegasusRaceTeam.com - and if you've any questions about the team and the bikes, you might ask.

cya on the road - or perhaps at one of the races!
Thomas

Yep, the M2 has been a great bike - but the better is the enemy of the good ;)
And after a couple of blown engines I lost the confidence in the reliability of the bike :oooops:

..due to business obligations :( I've no chance to be at the race in Assen - it will be one of the most important ones for us this year :!:
But all the race activities have to be funded - so I've to earn some money... :headbang:

...just show up in the pits - you'll recognize Jens immediately - he's a bug guy with beard and tatoos on both arms - he'll explain and show you everything you're interested in - as long as there is some time...
Have fun in Assen and support all fellow Buell-racers! 8-)
