BTW (said in stage whisper) I am still trying to get tickets for the MotoGP, as it is seeming to be the only place we can stay at the mo........  I just hope the hangover will be able to cope with GP bikes screaming round the circuit... :o I REALLY don't want to miss this one....

Ray - I don't know, but I will ask the question.

how do we get this 'club package'

Albert - the Club Package details haven't been announced yet, but they're on the way, hence Silverstone's request for information regarding people who may have already booked tickets and wish to transfer.

Discussions about this Moto GP Club Package have been going on since November 2009 - I could back track through all my e-mail's for the exact date but I may lose the will to live :( ...

It would have been easy to say sod it, I've waited long enough, but it's become a matter of pride now. I'm determined to see this through to the bitter end and make the most of this rare opportunity to have exclusive access to the infield and track etc. during a Moto GP weekend.

Steve - thank you :worthy:, that will save us bringing our marquee. I anticipate a similar set-up to the BSB last September and that worked very well.

Nobody is staying at my house unless they bring the customary MotoGP sandwiches. You'll need to bribe Daywalker for the secret recipe.

Latest news - e-mail received 16.48 today:

Hello Chris

I'm sorry for the delay but I'm just waiting for my club invite letters for each event (Moto GP, WSB, BSB) to be signed off then I can send them out to you.

I was at the track yesterday and the new Arena Grand Prix circuit was in use for car testing, the new left hander inside Becketts turning back onto the National straight is pretty impressive, should be excellent viewing for the bikes.

Be in touch soon, I promise!

As mentioned before Chris, I'm in for the full four days (if the club deal is for four days?). As soon as you have details I'll stump up the wedge... ;-)

Not four days camping (unless motorhomes are allowed) but my Dad and his mate would like to go for race day and would love paddock access. I think he qualifies as a Buell enthusiast.

Today I received the application forms and details for Moto GP, WSB and BSB at Silverstone.

You should be able to book, using codes unique to UKBEG, late next week, after we return from Ireland.
