For gods sake don't let Tony see this - when I bought the Triumph, on the ride home he took me to a lovely pub with a carpark covered in that stuff and then on Saturday, when I picked the Buell up we stopped off at another place also blanketed in it. Not exactly new bike (and nervous new bike owner) friendly - if he spots it he'll have the lot for our drive

Nightmare stuff. I used to have 10-tonne loads delivered regularly when I had the country pile. Parking cars on it was bad enough, but crossing it on the bike was virtually impossible  :x

One's footman pushes the bike across the chippings. Whatever next? Fuel injection and ABS :?:

I've just put down 8 tonnes of 20mm gravel on my drive. Cost £21/ tonne delivered from the local quarry. It does indeed make a good alarm, but you do have to be careful on the bike.
