Hi everyone, just a brief note of introduction.
Having rode Kwacker cruisers for the last seven years, decided I wanted something different. Trailed the web, bike shops etc. for the last few weeks looking for the right bike & I reckon I"ve found it. An XB12XT.
Agreed the deal, haven"t even seen it or sat on one but hope to get it delivered in the next couple of weeks & get out on it once the weather improves.
Looking forward to meeting up :)

Looks like I'm in same boat meadman. With young kids I'm not able to travel half way accross the country to test ride a buell, so am going to have to let my heart rule my head and get one un-tested (within warranty:-) )

Do it 8-) I bought my first Buell (an M2) 11 without test riding it - I knew I had to have it. My 1125R was paid for before I'd even seen one.
When Erik starts building road bikes once again with the developed Helicon, I'll put my dosh down once more 8-)

Have a few mods to do, namely

Bought my old beloved Black S1 in March 2000 from Newcastle HD without seeing it, mind you it was a 600 mile bike. The story was the owner was banged up at the time..............glad he never came looking for it. Mind you i rode it straight back to Wales so his reach would have to be pretty far !

I agree but take care coming up to Rye as there is a signifant increase in police surveillance & speed traps around the area, especially on Bank Holidays

Do you know I was gonna ask about that! Not been down there for about 8 years, last time I did they set up a road block to catch me! Got away scot free cos copper in umarked car not in uniform, he had loads of other convictions overturned as a result! Now that's justice! Went racing after that. The road round the firing range is the highlight, awesome. Only got back on the road last year, got a bit more restraint these days but thanks for the heads up!
