This is an annual intrusion into the normally safe, cosy and trustworthy world of UKBEG by an apparent charlatan, Neil. (And I don't mean one of the band members ;) ) He was politely informed on previous occasions that we don't do things that way here, that you have to say hello and get to know folks before attempting to use the site as a free sales pitch.
He'll have moved onto a car boot sale or internet equivalent now, but he'll be back, I'm sure, with the same ignorant spiel.
Whether we remove him or not is immaterial really, there'll always be someone here to warn unsuspecting punters of these traders.

no drama for me....A little disappointed maybe as I wanted some Buell stuff but I'm one of those people that if I don't feel comfortable dealing with someone then it's a lucky escape....

Something else will turn up.

Even if they do come back now I won't purchase anything I don't think....

Good idea to leave this thread open though so we can use it as an example if they do return.

We did exchange PM's though which is weird that they did not follow it through when they are the seller and I am a buyer that was biting????

Regards
Neil

Neil, i did reply to your request via e-mail. It was sent at 10.15pm on Nov 17th with pictures attached. To be honest, i thought this forum would be the best place to sell Buell items to Buell owners but obviously not.

Remove the thread and disable my membership if you wish, i'm not fussed.

Thanks.

Depends if you want a flag.

UKBEG likes people to be matey, introduce themselves and stuff. Adverts like this can be seen in two ways:

1. Taking advantage of free advertising and essentially profitting from UKBEGs kindness
2. Doing UKBEGgers a favour by giving them a source of flags and banners

I have no real feelings either way...

Well I was interested in a banner, mainly, I suppose to p*ss my hubby off...LOL

It's no great loss if I don't get it though.

A simple PM to a Mod or Admin asking if its ok to advertise is polite instead of abusing our hospitality would have been nice, This guy advertises on all manner of sites so its not just ours, these are not official Buell posters and banners just ones he has made, for official ones, ask Steve at Black bear :)
