Hi,

I'm looking for a new or very good second hand Buell. Where should I go and are there any real bargains to be had? Feel free to offer your machine up, prefer a 900 with black frame but why?

Chris

If you're prepared to travel I'd phone around the HD dealers as a lot of new stock has just arrived in the country. Most of it will have already been sold but you may still find some available. I would guess there may be quite a few trade ins too as the brand new bikes were heavily discounted and some will have chopped theirs in for the latest version. be aware that some second hand bikes are still being advertised for more than some new ones are going for.
Good luck. :D

Thanks for that...
Sounds like I'm a bit late. I though the dealers / Buell UK would call our bluff for a good while before dropping prices. I'd love to snag a new xb9 for under 4.5K! We'll see how I get on and hope my eye isn't caught by something nice , old and practical first. I'd been relying on the dealers advertising deals, that must be my mistake. Shouldn't be such a vulture should I?

Chris try a PM to 'Buelljack' he works at St ledger which must be your local HD dealer or Contact Steve; 'Ursus Americanus' who is very Buell at Black Bear in Newmarket,
You may have to travel to get the right one but it will be worth it.

Riders in Bristol have an ex demo 9 for near enough. Don't work for them by the way but saw it when I went to look at mine tonight. I may well be wrong but I think there will be no further 'release' - the Sales Manager at Riders bought the same bike from the same batch as mine, surely he would know ???

Definitiely was a month ago, but I guess we are into a sale and demand scenario. I mean would you sell your bike on again for what you paid for it today, I certainly wouldnt.
