I was only trying to help................. ;)

In my experience..........

I don't have kids.

I've never owned my own buisness, (but I have run a pub).

I don't know how much a stamp is.

I work 8 till 4.30, Monday to Thursday (8 till 3.30 on Fridays).

Perhaps you should move all your tea breaks to Saturday, that would make the rest of the week more productive.

Why do peeps keep saying that ?.....Ellie and Tom hardly recognise me, they're so used to doing their own thing that my sudden willingness to get involved would phase them.....and me !

You lot are more my family  ......all I'm trying to do is get back to enjoying my work, be a little less grumpy and re-discover the joys of actually riding a Buell motorcycle

TBH, although you like to have this grumpy facade online, I think you are one of the most helpful blokes wot I know, and not just helpful, a person really wanting to help too.

I know what winds you up (well I don't, but I am guessing), and that is folk asking the same questions again, not using their noggin and expecting a different answer every time.

I know that when I call you for advice, I am not calling for a chat, you have stuff to do, people are paying you to work, I am not paying you for the advice (although it has it's worth) and I am not looking to tie you up more than you need to be.

Unfortunately, sometimes I cannot do everything that your guidance would have me do, but I will take the hit on that. Besides, if I could do everything MazWorld tells me, you would have nothing to take the piss out of...

Big thanks :worthy:

As already stated, taking on a apprentice would involve some serious expenditure re. insurance, H+S etc........also, my time would be halved training and checking out everything they do......would you want your bike spannered by anyone other than me ?
11 years building a reputation only lasts as long as the last job you do, get it wrong and everybody will know about it.....no use blaming the staff, fully trained or an apprentice.

Must say, I'm starting to enjoy this......in the 24 hours since making my decision, I've declined 7 mail orders.
I reckon I've lost zero income but saved around 2 hours dicking about that I can now spend spannering ie. I'm 80 quid up already 8-)
I do have guilt though, poor buggers will now have to order from their dealers and wait a couple of weeks for the parts to arrive......I'll get over it though

If Mich came back with his buell in a box, that might help.
Where the f*** is that cheeky Germerman type bugger anyway?

As we're all family now can you pick me up from my friends house at midnight?

Apologies for any minor mail order requests I figured you'd be making enough to make it worthwhile and rather give you the business knowing,...
1) I'd get the right part first time.
2) I'd get it quickly cos you're more likely to have it than most dealers anyway.
3) by going down the post office it would get you out more.
4) with your eagle eye you'd make a great witness at any post office raids that go on in madchester ;) and you could pick up a great reward.

Maz does this mean you will not sell over the counter any more? will you deplette your stock? I hope not I quite like leaping in the motor and driving like a nutter to get to you in time to have the piss taken out of me for:

A/ Buying an XB
B/ driving like a nutter from Stafford to pick up the bits when i could of had them mail order (your exact words I think).

As long as you are happy to sell me my bits over the counter I am happy to come get them. I can not stomach a visit to the Stealers!
