The reason the mixture was a bit on the rich side was I've been running with the baffle in. Plugs confirm this.

Ok. so plugs changed (only took me half an hour this time), changed the oil (got everywhere again) and cleaned the air filter, managing now to get the air box bottom back on without taking off the stacks (refitting them inside the air box is a pain). Refitted everything but left the HMF exhaust on (only takes an hour or so to change) but can't be bothered today. Started up fine and sounds crisp. Good result.
Have a great day folks. Paul.

Hi Folks,
60 miles around Derbyshire High Peak area today. Re-packed Torque Hammer sounds fantastic again, seems to have more power as well. Well pleased with the loose wool packing. Might just make a it yearly re-pack, it's worth it for the sound and feel of the power delivery.
Have a great day folks.
Rain forecast for tomorrow again. Paul.

Thanks Don,

It sounds like one of those old reverse cone mega's you could get for Bonnie's.
