Hi,
I am looking for a drive belt for a XB9SX, 2008, called the HD dealer and they say it's no longer available.
Does the HD sportster 883 belt fit?
128 tooth and 1 1/8" wide.
Thanks, Davie

A couple of aftermarket belt suppliers available - Falcon (part of Goodyear), Ultima (Midwest Motorcycles - big US aftermarket operation for Twins).

I've been looking "just in case" for my XB12XT (135 teeth).

Falcon lists BDL-SPC-135-118 for XB12, so I guess BDL-SPC-128-118 would fit XB9

Ultima is listed as replacement for Harley 40307-00 (goes to '00A then -00B) but not Buell, although both are 135T 1 1/8" width.

The Ultima 58-437 which is 135T for £126 plus delivery from Custom Cruisers in Derbyshire.

https://customcruisers.com/contents/en- ... 8-437.html

and they have Ultima 58-420 which is a 128T 1 1/8" (the size for XB9 2004 onwards, 2002/3 are 155T) for £123 plus delivery.

https://customcruisers.com/contents/en- ... 8-420.html

A guy on eBay offers belts for £137 delivered - here
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/225265155344 ... 0zEALw_wcB

Jersey Harley (Channel Islands, not USA) offers VAT-free but not sure how that works on high value stuff. The genuine Buell XB12 belt is £212 plus delivery there.

Yeah, I got two original CR belts from Riders that were very fairly priced with UKBEG discount, talked to a very nice bloke (forget his name) but they were delivered next day. That's a Great Service.

So, now I'm actively looking for a replacement drive belt (Ulysses XT).

Existing belt is 15 years old - if it was a cam belt, it would have been changed multiple times by now!

I mentioned in an earlier post Ultima Belts - available in UK from Customcruisers

https://customcruisers.com/contents/en- ... 8-437.html

I think it will be (at £136) a big saving on an OE belt from Riders (no price yet, will call them tomorrow).

Anyone used an Ultima belt?

I see that Conti do a belt too - anyone used on of those either?

Yikes.

Riders of Bristol no longer give us a discount.

Buell part number (G0500.1AKF) is obsolete.

Harley 40307-00 is same (135T, 1 1/8" 14mm pitch).

Price is £320!

Any feedback on other makes?
