Are they the originals? If they are, they are stainless as Maz has said - he knows a little bit about these bikes :yup:

I don't think they are the originals to be honest, I get the feeling the owner is hiding something but did a hpi and all is well so bit of a mystery to me :) nice bike though

They look original to me. They look like they need the paint stripping off...

Kiwi, I can recommend a kebab house in Dukinfield where you'll get the biggest donner in the world. Not the best one but definitely the biggest.

I might take you up on that recommendation Nick. My plan is to walk around a few pubs exploring and people watching, have a big meal than pass out at an airbnb ready for (hopefully) the ride home the next day. According to the newspaper I am to stay away from the front of the MacDonalds in Ashton-under-Lyne ;)

How can I put it, Kiwi? The pubs are full of characters, but I had a good night. This was in 2011, mind, so a long time ago. I can't remember the little hotel I stayed in, but Maz will know which one. I'd have that doner again. From there (the hotel), head up the hill. There's a pub on the right. At the top of the hill, turn right and go down another one. Kebab house and more pubs.
