Got an EBC front disc coming in the next few days, need some new disc mounting bolts. anyone help?

Buttons or C/sunk ?

Countersunk. me thinks

Yes, I know the early disc screws were C/S and later button torx......but which version disc have you got from EBC ?....they supply both

If C/S, Buell want £1.55 each, if buttons, Buell want 5 quid each

Which are easiest to get out when the disc is shagged?

Both types have a much shallower hex depth than a standard Allen screw, so care must be taken to ensure that the key that you use is a good fit and good quality.

Button torx are easy to remove but the C/S require a special technique

Ordered the countersunk disc. What's the low down on removal then?

Bearings out, get the screws really hot (blow torch will do) and use a very good quality 3/16th allen key (pref. socket type).

Before fitting the new disc, chase the threads (5/16'' unc) and make sure the mounting surface is dead clean/flat.
Medium strength Locktite on NEW screws, 22ftlb.
Obviously new pads, pref. EBC 249HH.
