Got the X1 swingarm on the S1, and need to get the back end legal to get it registered over here.

This is the best looking hugger I've found worldwide, unfortunately they don't post overseas http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Buell-X1-lighting-rear-hugger-/291414391193?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43d9a6b999#shpCntId :sad1:

Anyone got something in similar nick :?:

edit - ahh bugger it, life's too short, bought this one instead :P http://www.ebay.com/itm/390903913736?item=390903913736&viewitem=&vxp=mtr

While rooting around for other bit and bobs I found an extension mudguard I'd taken off the Enfield Café racer. This may be all I need

Hugger fitted, doesn't look too bad. Red reflector fitted below number plate. Just need my Db killer to arrive now and hopefully I'll be ready :P

I got that one off e-bay from the states - cost me $80 + $60 for shipping. There are a few on there, but have a good look at the photos, the condition varies a lot.

I got offered one locally about a year ago. I'll check if it is still available.

Why wouldn't that fit an S1 if as he stated in his advert it had an X1 swingarm? only thing I can think is due to an alloy oil tank possibly but I thought apart from that all X1 huggers fitted X1 swingarms regardless of bike.

Bike looks good :yup: Belt guard looks a bit long - might be the angle of the dangle mind ;)

I do like those Tubers - gagging to get out on Magz X1 :D
