Your idea of an "inflated price" will probably be the well sorted ones that have had a lot of work and money spent on them already. A "reasonably" priced one may well just be the start of ongoing expense. You pays yer money and takes yer pick. :old:

M1 is just a made-up name for an M2 that has been altered to look more like an S1 in the seating department.

:yt: One advantage you'll get with a M1 is that you have the superior 'right way up' M2 forks, one disadvantage is, the pegs are much lower than on a S1 and drag when you get in the mood lOl

:yt: ...so you fit 'footpeg relocators' which are a sort of semi-rearset

I've never tried it, but I don't think they fit if you fit the larger 'upgrade' isolators :?
This could be the next project for Willy to sort :yup: :D

The type of isolator makes no difference, they don't encroach on the 'rear-sets'.
I've put them on my '98 M2 (along with the later isolators), it's a much nicer riding position than standard :yup:

Word of warning about freeadds, gumtree, etc ,etc. Full of scammers. Emailed about a tt500 which was also for sale on ebay and was told to pay through paypal and gave me a link and they said they`d courior it to me. Told them to piss off, contacted the owner by phone and he was not amused.

Excellent. When looked at some in Battle2win, there was a through bolt that looked like it would foul on the metal isolator support. I'll tell Willy to stand down lOl

We bought a 2001 X1 earlier this year for just over £3K. The bill is currently standing at £5K for getting it sorted. I think you may find that it is well worth paying an 'inflated' price, if the bike has already had the work done.
