Naughty Matron!

Johnny and Tommy found 3 grenades in a garden shed, they decided the best thing was to hand them in to the police. As they were walking round there Tommy had a thought??? " What appens if one of these goes off?" " No worries" says Johnny, "We'll just tell em we only found two!"

If you want rid, name your price, I enjoy a challenge :rotfl:

If you want to try cleaning it up, one of the gurus on airgunBBS suggested a soak in diesel.

For what it's worth a really tidy one has just been valued at about £125.

It's revealing itself to be a good source of hard to find screws and pins :D

They were obviously made of better steel than the main body. Some of the pins are completely untouched by the rust. But the main body :?: wow the rust monster really ate in deep, but then next to a great big rust hole will be a patch of lovely blueing.

Seriously some of the screws are really hard to find, they used all sorts of different thread forms and some really tiny ones at that. Any recovered are proper useful.

It's still soaking though, I'm wondering how long I'll need to leave it before the whole body dissolves and I can just retrieve the useful leftovers :rotfl:

Much easier than trying to loosen rusted shite :rotfl:

Very nice :D
My brother in law is always trying to get me into shotguns, just not sure where it'd stop if I made the leap. Thought about getting fac too, but again I'd only start collecting again.
At least I can use air guns at home :) You get locked up for playing with the real stuff.

I'd love to collect Lee Enfields or old BSA rifles. But you hear some horror stories about collectors being shafted by their local firearms officers.

I'm slowly getting my enthusiasm back for the bikes, so hopefully I'll stop spending money on toys and throw it at the bikes again.
