hi lads, ladeses, i am after a xb12 lightning, been trawling the net and came across the forum,
so here i am, i dont know much about them but i gotta get me one, i currently own a ktm 950 sm and a 450 exc enduro, and love them both, but i still find myself looking at the xb12 and wanting, its just finding the right one for the right money, looking at one on 05 plate for 4,700 seems a bit steep, or is it? seen plenty of the xb9's and loads cheeper, are they as good or will i still be wanting the 12 afterwards. anyway look forward to talking to ya all in the future, cheeeeers. :D

Welcome Nikko...

See if you can get a ride on one first, you may find it lacking after the SM...

Hi there, I have a 525 exc that I use in SM trim and full enduro as well,if you like the feeling of never ending tourque :D A Buell will right up your street. 100 % go for the 1200. Whatever you choose an earlier tuber or a later fueler you will never go back. It can be frustrating at times, but help here is always on hand. :maz: Can fettle your new steed  for longevity and peace of mind. Welcome to the forum.

Hi Nikko,

Where abouts in West Wales are you? I am near Carmarthen with an XB12S you can come and have a look at, no free rides though!

There is a definite itch and boy does it need scratching, I have not enjoyed a bike so much. You are welcome to come over and smell it :D

Regards, Mark.

Nikko,

No sorry not forsale, like you I spent several months hunting high and low to find my bike..........they are like rocking horse shit.

And I suspect this ones a keeper, they really are fun and just handle amazingly, still not bored of just looking at her.

If you are passing give me a shout and pop in for a looksie, if I can help I will.

Mark.
