Has anyone carried out a seat / rear frame mod to an XB9 Lightning to give the seat an extra inch or two for for the pillion - similar dimensions to the XB12 long for example?

Possibly fit the rear subframe from the SS long along with the correct seat?

Yeah, I'd thought about that - especially as Buell do a touring seat for the SS Long.
Has anyone carried out this modification? Does anyone know if its possible or not?
