Hey me again! Picking through the bits that my new S1 needs! Seems that I need a speedo pick up for the front wheel! Got a new cable and still can't fit it, bugger!!

I think it depends on the speedo as well as the wheel size.

As I told Pete, the last one I bought was about £30 from V Twin Mania in Scootland

Might take mine off and try to fathom out a fix, as long as I can get the square peg to stay in the square hole I should be sorted!! Amazing how vodka makes things seem so logical!!

ImageImageRight guys! Speedo drive repaired, see pic, had to modify by sleeving the broken drive, drilling and tapping the sleeve just behind new cable collar, fit 2 grub screws to retain cable, glue in new seal, loctite sleeve onto damaged drive! Hey presto!!
