I've mentioned them before, try dropping Simon a mail at BGD http://www.bgdevelopments.co.uk/contact-us.html
They'll probably have no problem knocking up a couple of bespoke ones for you.
They do a lot of stuff for BSB and Moto GP. One of the conmpanies owners is a bike nut. I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago, and he was up to 11 bikes in his shed, and still talking about a Triton he'd been looking to buy!

As an aside, did you manage to bag a set of those X1 forks on e-bay?
Mine should be turning up next week. :D

Good man :worthy:
I was digging through a box of bits looking for something for Spen, and I came across the rear wavy disc off my TRX track bike. It had cracked just where you'd expect it to lOl

I'm keeping it to show wavy disc lovers lOl

Glad you got some forks :yup:
Keep us posted on how you get on with BGD. Do you have a LH calliper then?

I fired an e-mail off to them today actually, as they're still doing some stuff for my Seven, and I dropped some of my boat stuff in to them the other week, as they said they'd get it re-anodised for me, and I mentioned the possibility of them doing a twin disc setup on the buell for me. So I'll be very interested in how you get on.

Here's a picture of the disc bells they made for my Seven.

It's unusual you didn't get a reply within a couple of days :?
But as you say, bloody Christmas! :sad1:

Pash, Mick who? Me? Heard back from them about what?
I'm in contact by e-mail every other week, as we're working on the rear brake setup on my little coffin shaped tin foil kit car.
I only mentioned a twin disc setup on my bike as in maybe in the future, but I didn't press it.
Especialy as I haven't realy ridden the thing yet, and I may feel the current setup is O.K.

Ah right, my misunderstanding, thought you had asked them about a twin disc setup for your X1. Sorry.

Was interested what they charge for discs, competition in the market place is a good thing.

No worries.
I couldn't tell you the price of bike stuff, but just for example, the parts for my car,
278mm x 18mm ventilated discs (AP Formula car) where about £125 each
Bells where £85 each, and the bobbin sets where about £40 a set.
All plus Vodka.
I thought the bells where very good value, considering they where bespoke and included the hard anodising.

Cheers,
Mick.

Front L/H disc just arrived from EBC MD734LS, and they still have another still in stock. £160 total.
Still need calipers and front brake + master cylinder with integral reservoir, am looking at ISR but bloody expensive and pretech calipers.
