Hi folks, need a right/brake side front fork - only slider damaged so one with a tatty/damaged upper would be ok.

I think the 1125 fork is the same as some xb's???

I've got one you can have for £2.5k. I'll throw the rest of the bike in for free.

Effin Egay.

You're joking? You got fucked about? Thought it was a dealer had bought it?

I was talking to someone sunday about buying one for racing,I'll give him a nudge.

Got no more room myself, unless you want a bonneville?

It was a dealer, but shock horror, a bike that had done 30,000 miles wasn't cosmetically in mint condition.

It's just sold again on second chance so watch this space...

Sadly I don't have room for a bonnie, I'm trying to make room for the Ducati. Just bought an SS600 to race in Desmo Duo next year.

Not absolutely, was hoping someone would pop up and say yay or nay and what does and doesn't match.

If you can dig em out we can compare dimensions.

Not the same. I think the 1125s are 47mm, the XBs are 41mm up to 2004 then 43mm afterwards, apart from the Scg that was still a 41mm and the 08/09/10 Uly which was a 47mm.

XBs came in different lengths too...

Thinking about this info, what I really need then is the shortest, lightest front end available.

It's for my new race bike, because it's a chromoly frame I really want to use buell forks and wheels as well as distinctive body work,to clearly identify it as a buell.

so an early XB or scg complete front end would suit perfectly. :yup:

Buell stuff yes, but the later Showas from Jap stuff are considerably lighter.

I know but then it would be further away from a buell...gotta keep the perimeter disc.

RS 125 forks are a popular drag racing option...each leg is 1kg lighter than the 1125 forks.
