So hello everybody! I joined the other day as I was looking at my first buell.
I made a couple of posts, and read a bit. Already found out that MAZ is an uber legend mega help around here! :yup:

I have now bought the X1 that was listed in the for sale section. After my first day riding, all i can say is, LOOOOUUUUUUUUUD!
What great fun! Definately going for more blasting around tomorrow, weather permitting.
Need to find some sort of battery box though. And a headlight upgrade. (and so it begins...)

Hope to meet a few of you, and learn more about the world of buelling!

Cheers, Pete

PS i live in kent nr faversham, so if theres any locals pls say hi!

I know they don't neeeeed a battery box, but I just thought it would help protect it. It would obviously have to be tight fitting and plain black...

Hi Pete ,
Welcome ,
Bit late to say hello but only just logged on and found you .
I live in Rochester , Kent so very near to you , and I also have an X1
which I have had from new , although not standard any more .
I doubt if any are now !
Still gives me a grin every time I ride it
I have a battery cover on mine which is polished and not black , which you want , but you are welcome to look at it .
Praps we will meet up for a ride , a few friends are thinking of going to the Brightona show at Brighton on the 14th this month , normally good weather and lots to see , although mine is the only Buell .
