i'm guessing this is what people are on about ?

It looks like the shock has the SRP kit bolted to it, to act as a fail safe incase the eye breaks off the shock.
You could've had the shock changed for the latest type that didn't break.
The recall is now long gone and will cost the new owner £5/600 to replace.

no i think it was some geezer called chris or richard ,cant read the signature on the sale reciept ,is darren the short tubby geezer ,must have been there about 8 years??

its never caused me any grief ive only got 6847 on the clock !! i wondred if it was some special buell shock as that ex racer paul lewis bloke had something to do with it !
