Evening All,

Jill,
Yeah it was Charlie that I bought the bike from. The seat is 'real' low. I am flat footed on the bike, so I have actually ordered a standard seat for more comfort. I'm only 5'2", oh yeah, and a half, but Charlie must have been even shorter...... how can that be? :o

She-man???? Mmmmm, was that a suggested picture of any particular female on this forum? After having read Jill's comments about Charlie being very girlie and Jill being the total opposite. I guess Jill, you're not one to be messed with, eh? Oww, no! I reckon I am probably on your side of the 'girlie scale' in fairness. I work in a male environment too, which probably doesn't help, but then I wouldn't have it any other way.

H

Actually, the She-man picture looked real familiar......
My other 'alf, on his birthday a couple of years ago, dressed in drag on the Norfolk Broads. :hehe:

Charlie was only about 4'11" plus she had a very weak right leg/ankle (juvenile arthritis). I gave her that low seat which helped her a lot...it was much too low for me and I'm only 5'3".

I was brought up with 3 brothers, so had to fight for my rights...plus also worked in a male environment for many years, until fairly recently.

Hi Helena, I also own a buell blast in black. I imported mine in states about six months ago as there was none up for sale in the uk at the time.
Unfortunately i fell off mine about five weeks ago and broke my wrist and had an operation on it. Minor damage and missing riding alot.
There are two blasts in plymouth my black one and a yellow one.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy

Ditto Jill! :o

Three brothers and one sister. It was my sister that kept me sane! They're all quite a bit older than me and of the opinion, they knew best. :old:

Well, Jon has been busy getting the garage sorted, so we can get to work on the Blast. Never soon enough though. Can't wait to get it on the road. We did take the Van Van's out yesterday for a spin down to Lancing and Worthing. It was such a great day for a ride out and even better when you don't display 'L' plates any more.

Oh dear, not good.
Last year, in September, Jon and I went to the Isle of Wight for a long weekend of off roading on our VanVans with one of our VanVan forum buddies. On the last day, towards the end of the day, we came across a deep rutted section and I came off and broke my leg. Ended up going home as a foot passenger. :(
.............. mind you, by January, I was up on the ski slopes of L'Aguille Rouge, skiing black runs and off piste. :o
Not so easy to stop this girlie rockin'! :4roz: :ner:
