Dear All,

Just thought I had best introduce myself. I've been riding around on my Suzuki RV125 Van Van for the last year on my 'L' plates and decided September was going to be my 'special' month reserved exclusively for getting my Modules out of the way. I passed Module 1 two weeks ago and passed Module 2 Friday just gone.

I'm keeping the VanVan because it's great for off roading and touring, believe it or not, but went out and bought a Buell Blast about 4 weeks ago. Ideal for someone with height restriction sticker stamped on ones forehead. I am actually flat footed on the machine, so I've already ordered a taller seat for more comfort from a HD dealer in Atlanta.

Jon (my other 'alf) and I have plans to tart the Blast up a little, because it has been neglected somewhat and has been dropped at some point too, but otherwise, the engine is sweet. It has one or two electrical issues, but we have the technology and the parts, so we'll get those sorted very soon. Can't wait. :yup:

Anyway, any other Blast owners out there, let me know. I've been advised I am only one of seven in the UK. Wow! That's not bad going! Can't wait to ride it to Box Hill.

Take care and see you round.

Helena

Welcome from another Blast owner. I think you might find there are a few more than 7 in the UK though. I think there's more likely 30+.

Have fun and enjoy the ride! :yup:

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! :4roz:

I can't recall who said there were only seven Blasts in the UK...... it may have been one of the forums, elsewhere. 30+ eh? Nothing wrong with that!

I bought my Yellow Blast from a lady in Southampton and my other 'alf rode it back for me to Horsham about 4 weeks ago. I did spot the black Blast on sale recently and I must say, it is nice to know you are all keeping an eye on such unsavoury characters and protecting us all from such evil goings on.

Happy riding! x

Hey Helena,
Did you happen to buy your Blast from a girl called Charlie Dalglish???

I gave her my low seat as she is such a tiny thing. Has blonde bubbly curls...very girlie...not at all like me...lol

Jill :sun:
