Hi all.

Had Xb12Scg from new in 2008. Have looked here for tips etc. but never got around to signing up. So thought it about time I did...

Done usual things to mine, Freespirits tensioner (which I had a potentially dangerous fault with, I'll post details in technical), replaced most bolts with stainless or with stainless caps, added the odd bit of bling and found a neat cover for the cheese grater. Just replaced the headlights with twin beam H4 set up from Simpson Detour... so can now see at night.. (will post separate as well with details).

I mainly ride out with the Bury Hill Bikers in Sussex

Nice bike. I still miss the handling of my XB. Lets see the cover for the cheesegrater then I am curious to see what it is.

Cut out from a piece of foam sheet from a craft shop, slightly larger than the hole in the bodywork, and stuck down onto the original cheese grater. Very cheap but effective as the texture of the foam makes it look the same as the other plastics on the bike, and is flexible enough to fit the curve in the original.

Welcome, The only Buell with a built in mouse mat :yup: I'll probably pop in to Bury Hill on the way back from Shaws next Tuesday.
