Maz,

If you can mate.....

Can you have a look around for Part number S0116.K

Mine may already have it on -

http://www.supertrapp.com/images/pdfs/003-7235.pdf

I am not sure what I have on mine, but it looks like I only need the rear hanger 'z' bracket ..... S0116.K

I already have this one http://www.doncasto.net/hangernewtext.jpg according to the supertrapp bumpf....

Any help of course I will be grateful....

Matt

I have listed some photos to help of what is there and what I have.... sorry if one is blurred...

Bike is in Tenerife and these are the only photos I have at the moment.

Early Buells did not have the Z bracket at the rear - jut 2 simple steel strips with an 'ole at each end. I'll see if I can get to mine and measure them. They're somewhere behind a load of other junk.

Strap holes are 2.175" CtC --- 8mm (5/16) 'oles. The metal is good and thick.

That's the kiddy! Cheers mate... Cheaper than a new bracket from HD @ £35.40!

Did your exhaust have a Caesarean section or something?

Yup - Tubbs gutted it. It' not as free as the V&H but it does breathe much better than stock and not much louder than stock. Just a slight hesitation just below 3000rpm.

What I'd forgotten however is how the oem can dulls the flickability of the beastie. It must have something to do with a C of G change or something. Very odd and I'd rather stick with the V&H until I'm forced to change.

My bracket is currently winging its way to Tenerife to allow Mr Babybadger to MOT his bike this year. He is sending it me back when finished with, so he still needs one...
