Yeah Oxford Harley are still Buell friendly to a point but I've got ecm issues which they can't touch. Great place to just go and visit though, nice staff, great atmosphere.

Welcome :yup: Computers are White Mans Magic to me as well; but don't let you put that off ECM Spy. I've only ever used it for TPS resets and that's dead easy - although I did have to get Maz to show me how to do it in the Carpark at the NMM, coz I is well fik and couldn't understand the words lOl

Ha!
You've lost me with all this talk of TPS, NMM and other technical do dahs. I fix vintage deisel narrow boat engines for a living, saying computer to these people you my as well be swearing at them while pissing on their shoes and back handing their wife. I'm talking cork gaskets and copper everything. They still believe steam is the ultimate power!
The ecmspy sounds interesting but I'd need someone else to do it for me or I know it'll catch fire or something!

TPS = throttle position sensor. It sort of lets the brain know how far you've turned the loud handle lOl
NMM = National Motorcycle Museum

Anyway, enough of that, I need some help from you. 3 years ago a mate of mine a Mate called me and asked if I could look after a 3cyl Marine engine for him (for a couple of weeks - and I've still got it :roll: ), since it was the kind of tackle that folk put in canal boats. It was once mated to the reserve power generator on the top of a Woolworths shop (long story, but it was gained legitimately ) and has only been run up for maintenance. Neither us have any idea about it, so I'll post up some photos and see if you can give us some info. If you like getting very, very drunk come and check it out yourself at D4 (see Events Section ;) )

Yeah send me some pictures and I'll let you know what you've got. Marine engines are pretty unique when it comes to their value. There are a few models out there that people will pay big money for. Email me some photos and any serial numbers you've got and I'll let you know everything I can.

Whats the date of that D4, I can't find it and I do love beer.
