Post subject:  rear shock and torque figure advise

I have a 2008 XB12SCG. I have aquired a long swing arm which I have had polished in the hope that I could fit it to my bike with only minor changes eg rear brake hose & drive pulley. Could anybody tell me whether or not the rear shock absorber is a different length on the long conpaired with the short? If it is longer is it worth buying a stock Buell shock or does anybody know of a better alternative.
Also using the tips from this website, I have lowered the engine ready to fit a Reverso exhaust, I have been told that there are very specific torque figures for certain bolts eg front engine mounting bolt, drive pulley nut and rear axle, does anybody know what they are?

You are going to need a longer drive belt. The pulleys are the same.
