Have put some showa forks on my S1WL, but don't have a manual so was wondering if anyone could give us some ball park settings for comp and rebound, I way just over 14st (90kgs) in my leathers, boots and helmet. Can tinker with fine settings once this is done. cheers Rich |

Front Fork rebound (top of the forks) - maximum damping minus 0.5 turn Front Fork compression (bottom of the forks) - Maximum damping minus 1.25 turns I dont need to say make sure that BOTH forks are the same settings do I? (if you have the rear shock from an X1 it is rebound - max minus 1.5 turns and compression - max minus 2.25 turns) Source Buell X1 factory manual 2001 - part number 99490-01Y |
