XB12ss with only 100miles on it. Sparks plugs already changed, and now the oil light is on all the time. Plenty of oil in the bike, and all connectors checked. Any ideas? Apart from slinging the thing back to the dealer (3 hours away)..

My guess: short to ground or oil pressure switch failure.
If the light stays on with the wire removed from the switch it's a short, otherwise a defective switch.
