Just fired up my XB12Ss and the header pipes turned orange with heat after about a minute its only done 39 miles any ideas what might be wrong ? Andy.

Mine has 3030 miles on it and noticed while i left it running to warm up for oil change the same thing glowing headers its done it every time iv changed oil.

It's not got anything to do with the remus powerizer as mine has not got one and still does it! they are thin walled headers and as such heat up quickly but you will notice they cool very quickly too! as Maz said tis normal, dont worry.

When I had the CR ticking over I thought that the red rear spring looked very close to the head then realised it was the rear exhaust glowing :shock: :shock: Glad to hear it's not unusual.
