Hello all ;)
I am new to this forum.
I have found you via the products that i have purchased at Palmer products, and from what i have seen so far am well impressed.

Any way can someone out there please help ?

I have a 2008 XB12XT, and sadly got a rear tyre puncture at the weekend, i have removed the wheel and had the tyre replaced (it was screwed).
What i need to know is the torque settings for the rear wheel spindle and pinch bolt.

Please can anyone help me ?

Have a look in the How To section for fitting a Free Spirits Tensioner. You will find it towards the bottom.

The pinch bolt torque in the service manual (up to 60 Nm) appears much too high to me. There had been several reports about ruined threads in XBORG. I torque with 40 Nm and that seems to work okay.

Pinch = 40ftlb
Caliper mount = 25ftlb
