My mate (no computer....how does he cope???) has a 05 Ulyssese, he got the bike out the other day ticking over on his drive and pop the ignition fuse went, he changed it and it went again after a few seconds, so in the best tradition he changes it again, its fine he went out did about 70 miles with no trouble, took it out this morning and it went again while he was riding it, all of the lights work indicators and horn etc all fine, it just seems to be the ignition and the dash, we have had a poke around various places where there may be a short but unable to replicate the problem, its a bog stock bike that hasn't been in the rain for a while, he hasn't recently washed it. We are scratching our heads here any help would be great, cheers

Might have a little interest for you.

I think the principle is to look round the loom and check anywhere that it mught rub and fret through. Have an espceially good look around the steering head area.
