Putting newly overhauled & ultrasonically cleaned carb back on bike (M2, 2000 m.y.) and in the 5 week interlude it was away my recollection of what I took off it when I removed it is hazy (!). I get the fuel line connection, the VOES connector, the throttle cables and the drain hose, but the caniser vent fitting is staring at me like a stranger challenging me to a duel over some insult I can't recall uttering. I have no recollection of disconnecting anything from it, and from the workshop manual remark about "On California models disconnect canister vent hose." I'm assuming as I've a European model it had no "canister vent hose" attached so there was nothing connected? Does it just vent to the atmosphere? |
