Post subject:  Remus Powerizer question

Hello, I’ve just bought an ‘08 Ulysses XT and introduced myself in the New Members section.

The XT is regularly cutting out. I’m starting by cleaning up all the electrical connections. The battery terminals were both ever-so-slightly slightly loose, possibly not the cause of the cutting out issue, but they won’t have helped.

Question. It’s fitted with a Remus exhaust, it’s also got a Remus Powerizer plumbed in. From what I’ve read on the forum, the Powerizer isn’t necessary. I’m thinking of removing it, if only to simplify things and remove it as a potential cause of the cutting out problem. To quote Sergeant Wilson “Do you think that’s wise?”

Giz a call at the shop, after midday.....I'm in tomorrow.

There's a couple of regular issues with 08 bikes you might want to check first

Maz is right as usual, bin the fueler, mine's still hung on my garage wall as I was advised to do the same. Bike runs ace with my Remus without it.
Mine's an 1125r but still a REmus exaust.

Apologies Maz, I missed this until now :headbang: I’ll be in touch. I haven’t done much on the Buell, just other priorities at the moment.

Bet your dog doesn't think much of you either at the moment, that was a definite set time & invitation with Maz, He's the man to inform you. I was gonna ring him myself but thought you'd be on the phone to him. Bow your head in shame Jim.
All the best Paul.
