Mine didn't make any noise after being changed but I think I read that someone on here KIWI? changed his & it whined for 3 months. Did you change the bearings as well?

I experienced a whine as well around the time l had a new belt, but it turned out to be a 180/55 Dunlop Qualifier tyre that was wider than spec suggested. The edge of the hero strip was rubbing on the inside of the belt guard!

I used a rotary abrasive disc to de-burr the tyre. ;)

What kind of noise Westy?

I had a kind of humming till it wore in a bit...can still hear it a little when coasting up with clutch in.
