Post subject:  2001 X1 occasional misfire

OK, so picked up the X1 from Tonymac yesterday, thanks Tony :yup: Anyway, so on the way home, after stopping at a junction after a fairly long steady open throttle section it started misfiring when pulling off. It sorted itself out and was fine after that. Going for a blatt later in the day the same thing happened several times, back firing and puffs of smoke from the exhaust. Again, it sorted itself out.


My first thought is that it probably needs a TPS reset, would any knowledgeable person confirm that, or suggest something else that it could be :?:

Second question, assuming that it does need a TPS reset, how does one do that on an X1 :?: :?:
