Good Morning Folks

If I pull away dumping the clutch and using the torque and a hand full of throttle I get a feel though the bike as thought the belt jumps one tooth.
The Belt is at its correct tension and this is also a problem that one do it every time just on the odd occasion.
I am sure I read on here a while ago this was an internal box problem??????

Please enlighten me!

It could be a number of different things. The ones I have experience of are:

1. Worn striking dogs on first gear. My X1 has this problem and it isn't cheap to fix.
2. Belt really jumping. Is it an XB belt you have fitted? My S1 did this, I got Daywalker to ride alongside to confirm. It stopped jumping after a few hundred miles after the belt became more flexible.

:maz: will have a definitive list :4roz:

Mmm the Belt has been on there for 5000 miles or so and as far as I am aware isn't an XB belt.
So as the bike has 36000 miles on it I think the striking dogs answer is a distinct possibility, oh dear!
I know it's a cassette type box which is a good thing but my wallets gonna get spanked by the sounds of it.
Does anyone have any ideas what it's likely to cost, I feel a possible first meeting with :maz: moment looming in the future

Muffin has done this for the last 30 or 40 thousand miles :D but it hasn't got any worse , best thing is when you select first gear partially let the clutch out so the gears engage correctly then after that let it out fully and give it the berries lOl lOl as Maz says it is very common ;)

So if I ignore it is it going to break and ruin loads of other bits in the box so do I need to do something about it???
Is it one day going to lock up the rear wheel?

Another symptom into the "get used to it' basket.
Am I alone in knowing why Buell failed?

Mine does it now, never used to. Is the trick something you would divulge on here?
