Hi does anybody know where I can get replacement rear brake disc bolts I've destroyed them getting rotor off I think hank either used wrong lock tight or wrong torque had to put heat on wheel to soften and impact them off.
so where do I purchase bolts from.

Believe your experience is typical. Have you tried a Buell conversant branch of the MoCo to see if they are still available? eg Riders of Bristol, Southampton HD or Shaws of Lewes?

Use 12.9 grade button head set screws from somewhere like Bearing Man etc. They usually have a black passivated coating, so you can give the heads a lick of paint ;)
Did you use a lot of heat to get the old ones out (usually the case)? If so, consider new wheel bearings - Bearing Man again ;)

Sometimes, but not always... you won't know 'til you ask! :old:
Pash has negotiated a 13% across-the-board discount with Riders of Bristol, call them on 01179 588777, ask for Nick and tell him UKBEG sent you...
(any more help and I'd actually be walking in there, paying for them myself, then walking round to yours and fitting them for you... lOl )

Surely the paint would peel off the wheels long before the bearings suffered...

I was wondering about the grease in the bearings, although as you say, it probably has a higher melting point than powder coat :)

Powder coat is amazingly resilient to heat.....both the grease and seal will suffer before the coat gives up.

Standard rotor screws are shouldered.

Nowhere near as hot as you have to get the screws in order to shift them :)

But the screws screw into a massive heatsink
