After moving country (England to Ireland) and finally digging my bike out of storage after 4 years (don't ask) i've decided to do a bit of work on it. Since picking up the bike in 2011 I have had issues with the Acumen alarm activating after a day or two, I never worked why until this week - after some hunting through forums i heard that early IC's had excessive battery draw. I have just picked up a new IC (Y0500.2AMA) for the 2009 1125R, apparently this supersedes mine (Y0500.1AM) and rectifies the power draw, as well as having gear change indication. Anybody changed an IC before, it looks simple enough, just wanted to know about the mileage - does it reset to zero, or does it remember the original? |

I think it will copy original mileage across from the ecu along with the vin number after it has been connected for I think 30 minutes. You are given the time so that you can plug a new cluster in for diagnostic purposes. |

Thanks, it has an MOT Friday, so I'll give it a go over the weekend. |
