Folks, My M2's fork oil I think is due changing as after about 70miles there seems to be little control over bumps, and as far as I'm aware it's never been done so it wouldn't do any harm to change it, I ave checked the preload is set correctly and rebound is as per manual (1 turn out from full on) Now reading the manual it does suggest I can change the grade of oil to suit me, since I know heehaw about such things, what grade does the collective think I would need for somebody 100kgs (fully kitted up). cheers |

When the manual makes reference to fork oil weight (wt) is this the same as SAE (W ) rating ? can someone clarify then is 5W fork oil thinner (so less damping) than 15W oil ? ![]() |

I'm 90kgs fully loaded and was recommended 7.5 weight (mix half 5 and half 10),with your weight possibly try 10 wt first,15wt is pretty heavy |
