Post subject:  Three bloody wire

Hi I wonder if any one can help me with a bit of wiring problem I have with a 05 xb12r, I bought this bike as accident right off, and is now fully repaired, :D
except for the three wires and what they where attached to! :(
I thought it was to a relay of some sort, the wire are red&white, black&white, green, and come off the main loom in the fairing just behind the bank of relays, if you connect two of them the rear cooling fan comes on, and the other way it kills the engine if it is running, and the engine management light is on all the time.
I have had a look at the Harley parts catalog, and it dose not show them, I have rang Maz :askmaz: who did not seem to know, with out looking at the bike, and at the moment that is not possible.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated or a wiring diagram which shows them three bloody wires :headbang:

Which trouble code is set?
R/W is sensor power, BK/W is sensor ground.

As I said when you phoned, those are the colours for the cam position sensor......but shouldn't be behind the fairing on a loom of their own :?

You sure they're the right colours ?

Probably BAS, has R/W, BK/W, LtGN/GY and position would fit too.

Sneaks into the Tech Forum to suggest "Bank Angle Sensor" then runs out again...

Just googled it and came up with it,
but how come the fan come on when I cross the wires, or is it also a ATS (air temp sensor) or is that something to do with the Tyres
