hi everyone, not been on for a while not been to well, just after some info, my speedometer is not working on my blast, i have changed the speed sensor but it is still not working, so am looking for a site to get parts for it, any ideas thanks anne |

Hi anne. the blast is an import, not a regular HD/Buell bike so im not sure what parts are available. some might be the same as an xb. there is an american forum badweb, i had a look in the blast section and found a thread about speedo problems. there is a diagnostic test you might be able to do from badweb 1) While you ignition is off hold the reset button 2) Turn the key to the on position. Now from each reset button push the speedometer will test the following: d01 Speed sensor power output shorted low d02 Speed sensor power output shorted high or open d03 Not Used d04 Not Used d05 Speed sensor return shorted high d06 Speed sensor return shorted low d07 Not Used d08 Speedometer power over voltage d09 Speed output shorted high d10 Speed output shorted low or open The last number CAL14 is the calibration number. Each test will read dXXSEt if there is a problem, or dXXCLr if there is not. HI, ebay usa number 230250413383 is a blast speedo unit should you need it ,more blasts there than here and they have miles per hour , hope it`s something simple to fix though. |
