Thanks Gunter, after last weeks problems with the bike,I had a reasonable weekend's racing, considering the conditions.
No huge leaps forward but monospy now controls the shift kill-I can now fit a fresh loom with no extra connectors spliced in.It works beautifully, don't use the kill spark and fuel though-much too harsh-with that unchecked it just kills fuel
Tried using the shift light function, but whenever things brightened up it was hard to see the needle.
Will explore the optional shift light out put.
Over all I managed to almost match my pb 9.9sec et -ran a best of 10.06,but with a new best speed of 134.5mph in 5th! at 11,000.
Struggled for grip all weekend,so I'm confident of running quicker still on a better track, with a better bedded in tyre.
But the best bit???? I ran 9.97 last year on a twinmotorcycles ecm, with lots of ignition advance very lumpy fuelling and having to do a tps reset everytime I started the bike. Yesterday I ran a standard BUEZD with a mild ebr fuel map and a standard ignition curve...and no tps reset req'd...yeah!
Made a few adjustments as we went, added some WOT fuel% and 2 more revs on acceleration fuelling.
Mainly it's a nicer bike to ride with the zd fitted
3 weeks till next test and tune-1st race meeting Shakespeare county raceway May day bank holiday-so got to get widebands fitted and palm pilot sorted out pronto.
If I can get them sorted I'll be off for a day on the dyno.
thanks to Gunter,Pash,Willie and Albert, much appreciated gents
