Has anybody replaced the rear shock ( XB range only ) with an aftermarket unit, if so which one ? was there a difference in performance ?. Being only 70kg in helmet and leathers i'm a bit on the light side for the standard blue spring, and i've no idea of the damping characteristics as its never actually moved. The spring preload and compression damping are all on minimum. If the rear damper is any good i suppose the cheapest option is a nitron spring rated to my weight. Or there's always Greggs and bacon and cheese on toast but that may take a while ![]() |

I have an AST on my Firebolt and Uly (and two S1s) and I like them. Service is second to none. PM Ronnie for more info. |
