Hi ya, im a 1st timer on this forum and was hoping somebody may b able 2 give me answer to a problem, i own my 2nd buell this 1 being an xb12x ulysses 06, ive bought an ecm spywere lead n am try to connect the lead to my laptop usb n its comes up with code 28 and this device is not intended for this platform, its on xp, ive finding drivers and uninstalled reinstalled etc but still get the same answer, the cable works on my girlfriends windows 7 laptop, doh, means borrowing hers double doh, any ideas plz,

What make of USB cable is it? FTDI?

Hi ya, yes it is an FTDI cable, ive tried the drivers 4 it but in the device manager it says there is no driver, i think its defo the computer, i tried taking it 2a computer shop but he jus fobbed me off n said he could only do the same as ive done but it will cost, also the run wizerd does'nt seem to come up so i cant do as it suggests, install anyway, recon ile have 2 find another xp comp n try installing on that 1, soooo annoying
