Stopped working randomly well not randomly really....@ mot station, Typical....Got the meter out;
12v live at switch, continuity from other wire at switch to rear b.light switch and rear brake light is lighting bulb fine.

What am I missing? It should work, shouldn't it? :headbang:

I am confused with your test. I would have unplugged the spades from the switch, shorted them together with a paperclip. If that worked, I would blame the switch, but put it back together and pull the lever like loads of times to see if it is a bit intermittent...
